This peculiar talent, however, frustrates both his friend and wife.

The plot thickens when Dronov inadvertently causes a car accident involving a young photojournalist named Sonia. Luckily, neither is harmed, and they soon develop a romantic connection despite Sonia being in a relationship with a businessman named Stas. As Dronov becomes more involved with Sonia, Stas employs him to play various roles that help him navigate his business dealings.

Tensions rise as Stas realizes the emotional bond forming between Dronov and Sonia, leading to disdain for Dronov. Meanwhile, Dronov's friend Boris Kazantsev is pursuing his wife Irina, creating further conflict. After a series of events where Dronov gains financial success and gifts his wife a car, she leaves him for Kazantsev. Eventually, Irina recognizes her feelings for Dronov and decides to part ways with Kazantsev.

As the narrative unfolds, Dronov faces legal troubles but is released due to lack of evidence. He returns home to Irina. In the end, he approaches a maternity hospital where he sees Sonia and Stas through the window, leaving their future uncertain but intertwined with his past decisions.
